A Four-Legged Word: MFT Release Day 2

Welcome! It's Day Two of the My Favorite Things Stamps April Release--we're almost there! Are you a dog person? I am definitely a dog person, even though we don't currently have one. (My husband says that dogs and hardwood floors don't mix. :-/) 

Shown above are the Copic markers that I used to color my four-legged friends. 

The biggest problem that I had with this set was deciding which dog to use on my card! Clearly I couldn't decide, so ended up using three of them. (Sometimes variety is the name of the game!)

The Sugar in My Lemonade: MFT Release Day 3

Welcome! We're down to Day Three of the My Favorite Things Stamps April Release Countdown. Could I tempt you with even more cuteness? This little Fresh Squeezed girl is just plain sweet!  I colored her hair, skin, and accessories, but then added some paper piecing combined with coloring for her party dress. 

Shown above are the Copic markers that I used to color her dress (paper pieced from the lightest pink paper in the Roses All Over paper pack, and then shaded with Copics). I added a strip of glitter to her belt line and even a little random heart-shaped piece of glitter for a belt buckle. (You can see it best in the top picture; it is iridescent, so the light makes it look pink but shift to green.) The little butterfly is from another April release, Springtime Critters, and the background is lightly airbrushed, using the Stitched Dome Die-namics as my mask for the edges.

I know that I have a LOT of Die-namics sets listed below, but I used usually only one piece from each set, so you might be able to substitute on some of them Here's what I used: the sentiment banner from Blueprints 12, the front panel from Blueprints 15, the butterfly from Springtime Critters, the Vertical strip from Stitched Vertical Strips, and the D-shaped panel from Stitched Dome STAX.
