Welcome! How are you all doing? It's been a long time since I posted (or even since I crafted, truth be told), and life has certainly changed for all of us over the past few weeks. We've been working on a garden spot for my Mom, knowing that it may become a more important part of food on her table in the future. We managed to fence it in, hoping to keep the deer out; but I don't know what we'll do about her groundhog problem!
On to my card. . . The My Favorite Things Stamps Icing on the Cupcake card kit was released earlier today. I have a very simple card here on which I used the Sprinkles Stencil from the card kit. I LOVE this new stencil! (The Cupcake and Sprinkles Die-namics and the Sugar Coated Sentiments are absolutely darling as well, even though I didn't use them on this card.) I blended five ink colors (shown in my supply list below)
Next, I used the You Impress Me Die-namics and the turquoise foil, along with the All About You Die-namics, to create a shiny foiled "you" for my focal point. I used detail white embossing powder on Razzle Berry card stock with a sentiment from the All About You stamp set. I finished with a few random sequins that I had in my stash. It's a simple card, but I was happy with it when I finished.
The Icing on the Cake Card Kit is now available at MFT Stamps. Be sure to see the MFT Stamps Blog for more ideas with this kit as well as a chance to win prizes! Thank you for visiting, and I hope that you can find some enjoyment in the more secluded times that you're probably having right now. Hang in there!
