Hang in There: Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

Welcome! Today I'm hopping along with Pretty Pink Posh to help introduce their newest product release! I have two card to share, so be sure to scroll down. For the first, I've used the Jungle Additions stamp set and coordinating Jungle Additions dies, as well as the Medium Polka Dots stencil. Isn't that hippo a cutie?

Shown above are the Copic Sketch markers that I used to color the Jungle Additions images. 

For the second card, I chose the Monkey Friends stamp set and coordinating Monkey Friends dies--this little guy swinging by his tail is such a perfect monkey image! I used only one layer of the Layered Leaves and Flowers stencils since I wanted to capitalize on the jungle feel, but the flower and berry layers give a lot of versatility to the stencil set.

It's Your Big Day: Pretty Pink Posh Turns SIX!

Welcome! I'm tickled pink to be celebrating with Pretty Pink Posh today--it's their sixth birthday! And just like any birthday party, there are GIFTS involved--scroll to the end of my post for more details on that!

My first card uses the sweet Party Friends stamp set and coordinating die set, along with the Birthday Background Stencil. I used a pale warm pink cardstock and a slightly darker warm pink ink to stencil the background, and I colored the koala image with Copic markers.

Listed above are the Copic markers that I used to color the Party Friends image.

Next up is a card made with the lovely Large Heart Floral stamp set, which I stamped with Versamark ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder before watercoloring and layering the images. I used the Large Floral Hearts coordinating dies to cut the hearts out--SO much easier than fussy cutting!

Pretty Pink Posh October Blog Hop

Welcome! Today I'm thrilled to be participating in the Pretty Pink Posh October Blog hop.

I have a couple of cards to share, beginning with the Winter Wreath card above. I loved this Winter Wreath stamp set and coordinating die set--what a fun, clean style! I layered one extra poinsettia and three little mistletoe sprigs on top of my wreath for extra dimension. 

Shown above are the Copic Sketch markers that I used to color the Winter Wreath images. (Click on the photo for a larger image if you'd like to save it.)

For my second card, I die-cut all of my Stitched Poinsettias die pieces from watercolor paper before misting them with water, adding some random color with my Karin Brushmarkers, and swiping the color around on the wet paper. (I used Magenta, Olive Green, and Lime Green Karin Pro Brushmarkers.) The background that is barely peeking out from behind the poinsettias uses Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters.
