Welcome! I've been in lovely Chantilly, Virginia, for a couple of days for Copic Workshop classes and am in the airport headed home. (Waving to all of you Chantilly Copic friends--you were fabulous!) I spent the last week brushing the Summer dust off of my sample books and adding a few samples; I knew I'd feel more prepared for classes if I had a little something fresh in my notebooks. All of that to say that the little Saturated Canary digital Vintage Violet image that is on the card above was an extra sample for for one of my classes, but she was so cute that I wanted to finish a card with her. :-)
Little Miss Vintage Violet is colored with the Copic markers shown above--all Earthtones.
The patterned papers that I used were from Carta Bella's 6 x 6 Giddy Up paper pad. I used a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basics A die to cut and emboss my focal image, and I did a bit of machine-stitching on my card front. She was a perfect addition to my Vintage Values and Mono-tones sample book. Just in case you live near Chicago or Milwaukee, my next Copic Workshop weekend will be September 25 and 26 in Schaumburg, Illinois, just north of Chicago. Hope to meet some of you there!
Thanks for stopping by,
